In the Star Garden Sky

The moon is a sunflower

In the star garden sky–

Golden full and down drooping.

Crows of clouds hover by.

A canopy of darkness,

Random black, overspills

Across cities of forests,

Great nations of hills.

This wilderness of buildings

Fingers up, heaven high.

These weeds of men invading

The star garden sky.
