SP Clarke has written two books of short stories: the autobiographical American Epiphanies, influenced by the short stories of James Joyce, and a compendium of more fanciful stories, partially based on real events (with a twist), entitled What If - both of which have received enthusiastic reviews from erudite critics in all parts of the civilized world. He hopes to live long enough to eventually complete a novel entitled Unreal Gods, loosely based on the heroic life of Portland rock legend Billy Rancher. He flatly states- “It has been nearly twenty years since the book’s conception. It may be twenty more until its completion, God willing.” He has two other novels and a children’s book at various stages of development, as well.
